Use, Problem and Prospects of Library Resources and Services by Users of Raipur and Durg Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in Chhattisgarh

Abstract - This paper aim to determine the Kendriya Vidyalayas libraries related information like frequency of library visit, Purpose of library visit, awareness and use of library resources, level of satisfaction on various library resources, perception about library collection etc. Study is conducted in KVS (Raipur and Drug (Bhilai)) 150 questionnaires 110 (73.3%) are answered. The result shows that most of the library users are female and most of the library users visit library for reading newspaper. 98% of the users are aware about library collection and maximum no. of users are highly satisfied with the collection of textbooks.
