International Journal of Research in Library Science is an Open Access Journal. All the articles published in IJRLS are freely accessible online without any subscription or registration barrier and also can be downloaded without any restrictions.

Our Open Access system follows Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Articles can be shared and adapted, provided the attribution for the work is given and that the work is not used for commercial purposes.

Peer-review Policy

IJRLS is a Peer Reviewed Journal. All submitted Manuscripts are first subjected to Plagiarism check using licensed and authentic plagiarism tool plagiarism detector pro. In case, plagiarism is detected during review / editorial process, such manuscript (s) will be rejected immediately. All the manuscripts submitted to IJRLS will be subjected to peer review process. The manuscript will be reviewed by two suitable experts in respective subject area. The reports of both the reviewers will be considered while deciding on acceptance / revision or rejection of a manuscript. Editor - In - Chief will make the final decision, based on reviewer’s comments.

Plagiarism

International Journal of Research in Library science would like to ensure that all published articles are within the accepted level of plagiarism. The Journal uses licensed and authentic Plagiarism Detection tool, ‘Plagiarism Detector Pro’. All submitted Manuscripts are first subjected to Plagiarism check and then the Publishing cycle begins.

In case, plagiarism is detected during review/editorial process, such manuscript(s) will be rejected immediately and we can also consider other steps depending upon the seriousness of the case. If the plagiarism is proven after publication, such manuscript(s) will be removed from our website and appropriate announcement will be placed in this regards. Further, “IJRLS” can bring such instants in notice of author’s funding agencies, author’s institutes (where they works) and to the original authors whose work has been plagiarized.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with regulations to protect personal information about you.

Publication Ethics

Duties of Authors

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, must not have been published elsewhere. Their work has not been copied or plagiarized in whole or part from any other work and if the authors have used the work and/or words of other’ that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. All material which is based on prior work, including from the same authors, must be properly attributed to the prior publication by proper citation.Plagiarism is an unethical practice in the field of research and is completely unacceptable.

Authors are required to state they are the copyright owners or they have taken the copyright owners’ permission before submitting the research report. Potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise, must be disclosed to the editor with the submission. All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. It is important to list everyone who made a significant contribution.

The Corresponding Author is the author responsible for communicating with the journal for publication. The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.They are responsible for language editing before submission.

Duties of Editors

The submitted manuscript undergoes peer review before publishing. All the information related to the submitted manuscript is kept confidential prior to publishing. An editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors. The decision should be in timely manner. Editors and board members should, whenever these are relevant to the content being considered or published, declare their interests and affiliations. The editors and board members should judge all submissions on their scientific merit and minimize the influence of other factors.They will strive to prevent any conflict of interest between the author and editorial.

Duties of Publisher

IJRLS does not allow any form of plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered to be a serious breach of scientific ethics by the entire scientific community. Incidents of plagiarism in a manuscript or published paper whether detected or reported, will be dealt seriously. We constantly support/advise and take suggestions from our Editors/Editorial Board/Reviewers on avoiding any malpractice of publication ethics.
