Use of Social Networking Sites (SNSs) by the Research Scholars of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur: A Study

Abstract: This paper attempts to study the activities and purposes for using Social Networking Sites (SNSs) by the research scholars of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. The study was conducted through a questionnaire administrated among the research scholars pursuing their research at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. It is found that majority of the respondents were found to be aware and making use of such applications in their research work and it was revealed that facebook is the most popular Social Networking Sites by all categories of research scholars.
