Application of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0: An Overview

Abstract: The paper summarizes an overview of the application of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. It discusses the evolution of different phases of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 in particular. Various tools, features, pros and cons of Web 2.0 are elaborated. Particularly, technologies of Web 3.0 like its need, fundamentals, structure, objectives, components, advantages are mentioned. Web 1.0 sites are driven and the user has no way to increase their involvement or interact with the interface. Web 2.0 sites allow for user interaction and participation by having a user-friendly interface where one can edit and publish the existing information. The term Web 3.0 describes sites where computers will be generating raw data on their own. A comparative study of the each stage of Web is done.
