Abstract - This study investigates how faculty members' information literacy (IL) skills impact their research output, publication rates, and citation impact in Mangalore University-affiliated colleges. It highlights the importance of IL in navigating academic resources, utilizing digital repositories, and enhancing research effectiveness. The findings suggest a significant correlation between IL competencies and research productivity. The study uses statistical analysis and visual representations to illustrate key insights.
