Abstract - Libraries receive a rigid budget, growth of literature and the enormous rise in the cost of books and periodicals have limited the purchasing capacity of the library resources. Library consortia are platforms for sharing resources with the participating libraries. Here, library consortia and open educational resources are viable solutions to the mentioned problems.
