A Study of Space Management in Aided College Libraries in Sangola Taluka

Abstract - Space management is a burning issue in libraries. This paper highlights space management in academic-aided libraries about space for reading resources, furniture, electric equipment, structural components, etc. The paper also points out miscellaneous things in the library that are to be placed in a smart way and the clever task for librarians to adjust the various library sections in the provided space adhering to norms regarding the space of the library which is significantly dense in aided libraries of Sangola Taluka. Availability of space is prominently relied on by college administration and other UGC funding agencies and stakeholders' suggestions can lead to the optimization of space usage and aided libraries are on the same footprint. Users' suggestions contribute a lot in deciding the ultimate space management in the library hence Paper attempts to calculate major issues of space management in aided college libraries in Sangola Taluka.
