Abstract - This study investigated the influence of digital competence in teaching and research of the Academic Staff of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Nigeria. The objectives of the study comprised the level of digital competence of Academic Staff, in Nigeria, the influence of digital competence on teaching among Academic Staff, and the influence of digital competence in research among Academic Staff of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Nigeria. Three research questions and two hypotheses were used to guide the study. A descriptive survey was adopted. The population of the study consists of all the 619 academic staff in the university. A self-developed questionnaire was used for data collection.. ……
