Abstract - Digital technology and computer networking have made it possible to store, retrieve, distribute, and replicate information quickly. There have been significant advancements in digital libraries' technology and applications. Although there are numerous global digital library programmers, they are still in their infancy in developing nations like India. However, the digital library culture has already emerged in India thanks to initiatives like Google Books Projects and the Million Book Project, both started by Carnegie Mellon University.  Although there are numerous global digital library programmers, they are still in their infancy in developing nations like India. Online subscriptions connected to other websites are likewise regarded as digital libraries.
