Users Perception on Information Resources and Services of IGM Library, University of Hyderabad: A Study

Abstract - Universities are the centre of higher learning. University libraries are considered as the heart of the University. The main objective of the University Libraries is to support the research as well as teaching and learning activities of the universities. The purpose of this study is to examine the usage and user perception of library collections, library facilities and services of Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Library, University of Hyderabad, Telangana. The primary data was collected through the distribution of well-structured questionnaires to 300 users of the IGM Library and the response rate was 81 per cent. Collected data were analysed into frequency tables and percentages. The Results of the study revealed that the users were satisfied with the services and the resources available in the IGM Library.
