Abstract – Trust is an important binding force in society. Without the presence of it, the relational fabric of the society would be distorted. Trust can be present among individuals as well as between individual and institutions. In the present study, we are interested in the relation between trust and academic libraries – one of the oldest social institutions of the world. We have done our study upon students of an undergraduate college and their responses were recorded regarding twenty six variables in a four point Likert scale. We did correlation analysis of the data set and tabulated them. We found a strong to moderate correlation between academic library outcomes and trust.
